'GOD' and 'SELF' (BEING-CONSCIOUSNESS-BLISS) are the one and the same reality, available in abundance as "I"-AM ness (AHAM-BODHA) in everybody; beyond space, time, and causation- omnipresent and omnipotent.

THE TRUE TEMPLE
He who does not know through subtle inquiry the truth that God is himself , the temple for both the jiva and the world , will build a temple consisting of many enclosures [prakaras], restrict God to an idol, and perform elaborate and magnificent worship [to it].
THE DIVINE NAME
When the reality that is known as the 'Heart' gradually emerges from the Heart and expands as consciousness, it takes many thousands of names. On investigation, the foremost of these
will be found to be 'I'.
The talk then turned to the name of God and Bhagavan said, 'Talking of all mantras, the 'Brihadaranyaka Upanishad' says "Aham" [I] is the first name of God. The first letter in Sanskrit is "A" and the last letter "Ha" and "AHA" thus includes everything from beginning to end. The word 'Ayam' means "that which exists", self-shining and self-evident. 'Ayam', 'Atma' and 'Aham' all refer to the same thing.'
